NEWS | OP suspends Gov. Gwen Garcia

The Office of the President (OP) in an order signed by Sec. Paquito Ochoa has suspended Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, less than six months before her term ends. The suspension stemmed from an administrative complaint on usurpation of authority filed by former Cebu Vice Governor Greg Sanchez. Garcia, however, has contested said suspension as she has not received the order and that the complainant is already deceased.
